We have 647 eBooks. Ask your librarian for help.
I am very grateful to the Scarbrough family,
Mr. Chris Goodwyne, the Clinton Middle teachers,
and all those who support our effort in recreating our library.
As the pictures show, we have created the atmosphere.
Now we are ready to put the cyber in the Cyber Café.
I am not intimidated by technology. I have worked with computers
since they were made available for home use. I have also taught teachers and students
how to use computers and computer programs for years.
The Anderson County librarians have focused
on the changes that are taking place in libraries across the nation.
We are working together to provide the support the teachers need
to teach in the intense classrooms of today.
Our meetings have kept us up to date on eBooks, common core, informational texts
and how to collaborate with our teachers to make their efforts more efficient.
We have also shared these meetings with
Clinton City, Oak Ridge, Knox and Blount counties.
So, we are ready to make Linda’s Library
into the informational center that we have been trained to provide,
but honestly, even though I am very grateful for this opportunity,
I would rather have Linda.
We are considering having an after school tutoring class
next school year.
This class would meet twice a week.
Please take our survey
to aide in our decision making.
